Buddha Doodle - ‘Bravery’
I’m reading this excellent book by Steve Ross called “Happy Yoga.” I pulled this quote from a passage dealing with WANTING and acceptance of this in the moment. Life truly is filled with so many opportunities to release ourselves from attachments to our thoughts. Compassion is necessary in this process, though. It is a totally innocent thing to get caught up in the stories of wanting and seeking. These perceived impurities are really beautiful opportunities!!!!

But you get mad when they sell out? How could you not see it coming? I feel like I’m the only one not surprised by this..
Also, how much can one really blame a sheep for selling out? In the world we live in, how mad can you be at a person who chose to change but have food on the table, instead of staying true and being broke. Not that i support it, I’m just being realistic.
In the Quran, when God is speaking of himself, he says “We” “Us” and “Our” just as the text states in the Bible. I think thats so interesting.. especially when referencing the studies and theories of why God speaks of (to) himself with plural pronouns instead of singular.
and God forbid they have some validating “evidence” for their claims.
I used to be embarrassed by ignorant black people. But I’m starting to realize, they just might stay truer to themselves than these “conscious” wanna be civil rights activists.
But, Who am I to judge. We’re all humans. No one better than any other.
People have a habit of putting too much time and energy into the wrong things. A lot of times, its the very thing they’ve proclaimed themselves to be against. They’re on the inside of their situations so I can’t really blame them for keeping their unhealthy perceptions. But from my perspective; from the outside looking in, they’re easily comparable to elementary children. Spiritually naive to what reality is.
